Best Books to Give... Toddlers to 2nd Graders

Books make great gifts.  They are fun and entertaining, and then there is the whole educational thing as well.  It's all around a win win in my book.  However, I am a bit partial; okay, maybe a lot partial. 

Though, for the many that think like me, on the whole giving a book for a Christmas or Hanukkah present/gift, this list should help you decide what book to give.  

Today I'm giving you a list for Toddler, Preschool, Kindergartners, First Graders, and Second Graders.  I have books that both boys and girls will love, but I also have books that boys will love and other books that girls will love.  You have options; you should easily be able to find something that works.  

My next few book lists coming up should help you with the other ages including middle school, high school/teens, and adults.

Toddlers/Preschool:

First:

Even 2nd graders still love a fabulous picture book.  This one is fun for all ages.

Girls:  Judy Moody by Megan McDonald
